My 3 Simple Tips For Flawless, Clear Skin + Products I'm Loving!


The post you've all been waiting for!!! Just kidding. 
I have compiled 3 tips that must happen for you to achieve clear, flawless skin. 
Now I must first give a disclaimer, I am not a dermatologist, esthetician, or any kind of skin care expert. I just know what works for me.
Ready?! 


Tip 1:
DO NOT SLEEP WITH YOUR MAKEUP ON! 

No seriously, DON'T. I know when you're just getting home from a long day or a night out and the last thing you're worried about is washing your face, well I want you to march right into that bathroom and take your makeup off. Your skin will thank you. Your pockets will thank you as well because now you can save money on new sheets! Even if you wear "natural" makeup, you still run the risk of damaging your skin by leaving it on, especially if you know you have problematic skin. 
I simply take a few makeup wipes (2 or 3) and thoroughly clean my makeup off every time I wear it. I'm telling you, this one is a big deal.


Tip 2:
CLEANSE & MOISTURIZE CONSISTENTLY

Make sure you get in the groove of a good cleansing and moisturizing regimen to keep your skin soft and supple. I'm currently loving the Nuance by Salma Hayek skin care line. 
For my skin regimen, I use the 
Chamomile Facial Cleanser and the Moisturizing Day Cream. The Chamomile cleanser is especially great for sensitive skin but works for all types. It calms and soothes and doesn't leave your face feeling stripped and tight. Following up, I use the Moisturizing Day Cream twice daily to add an extra boost of moisture to my driest areas. With natural ingredients like jojoba oil, Shea butter, and prickly pear extract, my skin feels soft and hydrated all day long.


Bonus tip: KEEP IT SIMPLE. You don't need 10 products to get clear skin. The QUALITY of the product matters more than the QUANTITY.  

Tip 3:
DRINK (A LOT OF) WATER!

Water should be your best friend if you want clear skin. No questions asked.  
I'm a sweet tea addict so it's hard to get at least 6 bottles of water a day but it can be done. Without water, we would be dry, dusty and full of wrinkles. I KNOW you don't want that.
